◆ The Alumni Connect Cell

The Alumni Connect Cell of the Department of Statistics, University of Delhi was formed in the academic year 2025 with the purpose of fostering strong and meaningful connections between the department and its alumni network. The Cell adopts a forward-looking approach to build a vibrant community that remains actively engaged with the department and contributes to its continuous growth and success. Its objective is to create a collaborative platform that enables current students and alumni to engage in knowledge sharing, mentoring, and professional development. Through interactive sessions and events, the Cell aims to celebrate the achievements of alumni and inspire students by showcasing diverse career paths. Since its inception, the Cell has successfully organized several initiatives, including two alumni speaker sessions focused on Career Roadmap and Resume to Recruitment, which provided valuable guidance to students on navigating their professional journeys. Additionally, an Alumni Meet 2026 was conducted to strengthen personal connections and encourage meaningful interactions between alumni and current students.The event was graced by the presence of distinguished chief guests, Prof. Anil Kumar, Prof. S. C. Gupta and Prof. V. K. Kapoor, whose insights and contributions added great value to the occasion.
